How safe am I shopping on your website?
Because our website is secure, it means that at checkout you will see https:// . The "s" after the http signifies it is secure. In Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers, a little padlock icon shows up in the address bar at the top of the screen. The padlock may also show at the bottom of the page, depending on your browser. You may click the padlock for more information on the security in your browser.
We take your privacy seriously. All of our orders are encrypted with 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology both on the client and server ends. SSL prevents any outside parties other than mariejobras.com from decoding your personal information. Your order sent via the internet can be trusted to arrive securely, privately, and unaltered to our server only.
Other ways of verifying the security of our member login area and checkout pages is to click the Go Daddy Secure website icon on the bottom of each. Also, your internet browser has information that explains the current level of security for each page you’re currently viewing.

This is a common question, and our answer is that, "Whatever she feels most comfortable in will be sexiest."
Is Marie Jo Bras a "real" store? Do you have a location which i can shop?
Marie Jo Bras is located at 302 King St. Charleston, SC 29401, in the bustling historic King Street Shopping District. We are a small boutique that has specialized in European lingerie since 1976. Our boutique received the Best European Flair award at the 2005 Best Shop Awards.
Is there a Marie Jo Bras store near me?
There is only one Marie Jo Bras store located in Charleston, SC. For this reason, we have a website so you can shop with us regardless of your proximity to Charleston.
Where on King Street are you located?
We are between George Street and Society Street, are across from Apple Store, and next door to King Street Grill.
There is an adjacent parking lot off George Street (between Meeting and King) behind our store, where you can park instead of on the street or in a garage. See a map here.
Do I need to make an appointment for bra fitting?
No, you do not. Simply drop on in, and one of our professional bra fitters will be happy to fit you. It takes an average of fifteen (15) minutes to be fitted and find what bra(s) are best for you. Our store hours are from 10-5:30, Monday through Saturday.
What is my bra size?

What if I order something and it does not fit me? Can I return or exchange it?
Please see our Return/Exchange policy page. Panties, thongs, and pantyhose are not returnable. Federal Health Codes prohibit the returning and reselling of intimate garments (containing a crotch) for sanitary purposes. Special orders and adhesive products are also not returnable.
If you would like to special order a certain item, be absolutely certain of your size before you order it. We are more than happy to help you figure out your size before you place the order.
What bras come in my size?
Please see our useful charts listing what lines come in your cup size, and even particular bras in your cup size. Also using our website search you can enter your size, ie: 34E will display only bras available in your size.
What size range of bras do you carry?
We carry a 30A to a 46H.
How do I care for my fine lingerie?
Learn how to make your lingerie last here. Do not use Woolite and do not put it in the washer or dryer! Hand washing is the best way to keep your intimates in the best shape for the longest amount of time.

I have bought [brand and style] in the past, but it is not online. How do I find it?
If you do not see a certain item online, it is likey that the item is either out of stock or has been discontinued. Generally, if an item or collection is not shown on our site, then we do not have it available. However, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about similar styles, fits, colors, etc. Special and custom orders are always welcome with no extra charges.
I see that the bra [color, size] that I want is Special Order. What does that mean?
Special orders are not unusual. We only have enough room to hold so much physical inventory at any given time, and as much as we try to keep everything in stock, it is virtually impossible to have every single bra in every color and every size.
Special orders come straight from the manufacturer and are customized per your request to match your size and color preference. Our lingerie primarily comes from Europe, so it must clear customs and travel quite some distance. This is why it takes (typically) 2-4 weeks to arrive in our store.
Prima Donna and Marie Jo are common special orders shipping from Belgium.
Do you charge me for the special order when I place it?
Yes, all special orders are charged at time of checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We regret that we no longer accept Discover.
Although I see your site is secure, I still feel better placing my order with an actual person on the phone. May I call Marie Jo Bras and place my online order?
Yes, you may call us at 843-577-0999 or 1-800-842-3990 and place your order. When you call, please mention when you call that it is an online order, and we will direct your call appropriately.
When I am checking out, I get an error messaging saying my email address is already in use! Why?
You did everything correctly. It is a peculiarity of the shopping cart. Regardless of whether you completed checkout before, if you entered your email address, it is saved in the database. The computer sees that your email address is already in use because it truly is -- by you!
There is a quick and easy fix, but for security reasons, we cannot post it here. Email or call us and we will tell you how to get through this quirk.
I have store credit. How do I spend it?
Please call us to use any credits by placing a phone order. Your credit information is not currently available online. If you need more information on our Exchange/Return policy, please click here.
How much do you charge for shipping? Is there one rate, or different rates depending on the items?
We offer Free Shipping on orders over $50.
Please see our Shipping Information page for more detailed information. Free shipping also only applies to regular Ground Shipment orders; Rush orders will be charged appropriately.
How quickly do you ship items?
We try to ship your items as quickly as possible after we receive the order. At mariejobras.com, all in stock orders placed Monday - Friday by 1:00 PM EST will generally ship within 24 hours at time of order was received Monday - Friday. Orders placed after 1:00pm Friday & over the weekend will begin the 24 hour shipment process when the store re-opens Monday at 10:00am.

I did not get an order verification email. Why?
It probably got stopped by your Spam Filter. Check your Spam Filter, and add support@mariejobras.com to your Safe List so next time it will go to your Inbox. Please call us if you are unable to resolve this by checking your spam/junk email.
I did not get a tracking number for my shipment. Why?
Like the above question, the email probably got stopped by the Spam Filter. Check your Spam Filter for an email from www.ups.com (Quantum View Notify) or www.usps.com.
My tracking number does not pull up any information. Why?
It is very possible that your package has not left our store yet. We will package shipments, but they are not picked up by UPS or the Postal Service until a certain time. In other words, your package tracking number has been generated and assigned by us, but because it is not yet in transit, it has not been scanned into either the UPS system or the USPS system.
If I do not get every item I ordered in my shipment, does that mean the other items are back ordered?
Check the tissue-wrapped package. We tuck the receipt into a note card with a handwritten note and a business card, which is then tucked into the tissue paper. If this was an online order, a sales receipt will be included with which items are included in the shipment, and which have been processed but not shipped (because yes, they are on backorder).

Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship to the United States, Canada, and U.S. Territories. You may read our shipping policy here.
What is your shipping policy to Canada?
Canadian orders are charged $23.99.

Forever New orders over $50 get free shipping. Forever New orders under $50, as per each Forever New product page, and our shipping policy page, have a flat $7 shipping fee.
Is there a cancellation or restocking fee?
Within 24 hours of purchase, an order may be canceled and a full refund issued. If this 24 hour period occurs during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), then all cancellation requests will be handled on the following Monday with no penalty to the customer. However, beyond 24 hours of purchase, orders are not eligible for cancellation; the ordered item(s) will be processed, charged, packed, and shipped. After shipment, cancellation of an order falls under the stipulations of our returns and exchanges policy. To best serve you, all cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@mariejobras.com for documentation purposes.
