Returns and Exchanges

At Bits of Lace, we take great pride in providing our customers with the finest European lingerie. In the event that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returned merchandise in exchange for either a 100% store credit or a credit card refund, minus a 10% restocking fee.

 

Within 24 hours of purchase, an order may be cancelled and a full refund issued. If this 24 hour period occurs during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), then all cancellation requests will be handled on the following Monday with no penalty to the customer. However, beyond 24 hours of purchase, orders are not eligible for cancellation; the ordered item(s) will be processed, charged, packed, and shipped. After shipment, cancellation of an order falls under the stipulations of our returns and exchanges policy. To best serve you, all cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@bitsoflace.com for documentation purposes.

 

Please read our special order policy, as we do not accept returns for items that have been special ordered from the manufacturer. 

 


Final Sale of Items


In order to maintain quality and hygiene standards, there are some items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Final Sale items include: panties, thongs, shapewear, swimwear, sale items, special offers, special orders, and hosiery. Also, due to the adhesive nature of NuBra and other adhesive products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on these items.

 

Please choose your size carefully when ordering these products. We encourage you to refer to our Bra Sizing Guide with any sizing questions that you might have before ordering.

 


The following conditions apply in regards to accepting returns and exchanges:

 

1) The item must be returned to us in the precise condition it was sent with all tags and stickers are attached. 

2) They must be packaged appropriately so that items maintain their shape and are not crushed.* 

3) We must receive the items within 14 days of the ship date.

4) All merchandise must be returned to us in clean, new, unworn and unwashed condition, free of scents, dirt, or other markings.


Ordering in Quantities

If you have placed an order for 4 or more items with the same style number or size, we kindly request that you confirm your size with a bra fit specialist, as we will only accept up to 3 items to be returned with the same style or size combination.

* Damaged goods will be processed at our discretion. We reserve the right to assess restocking/damage restoration fees, and deny refunds according to the amount of damage done.

 

 

Late Returns and Exchanges


Within 14 days of shipping, items are eligible for store credit or credit card refund, minus a 10% restocking fee. If more than 14 days, but less than 21 days have passed since your package shipped, and you would like to exchange any of your items, you may return them for store credit only. There will be absolutely no returns or exchanges after 21 days.  This is due to the fact that our company primarily stocks inventory that is time-sensitive and fashion forward.

 

 

Shipping on Returns and Exchanges

 

Bitsoflace.com’s free shipping special applies to United States orders over $50 only, and does not apply to replacement items. You will be charged shipping on exchanged orders. For example, if you ordered a 44D and received free shipping on that item, but required an exchange, then you would be charged appropriate shipping on your replacement order.

 

 

How to Return Merchandise


Before returning any merchandise, please contact us by phone (800) 842-3990 or email to arrange for your return authorization. All returns should be sent in the original package with the original receipt and instructions regarding the processing of the return/exchange to:

Returning and Exchanging Notes


We are not responsible for defects caused by customer error. Our full liability is limited to exchanging the item if the manufacturer deems the item to be defective.

 

All lingerie items are inspected by a senior staff member prior to shipping. If we accidentally send an incorrect or mislabeled item, we will not only cover the cost of the return but will also cover the cost of shipping the correct item to you. Please note that we must first receive the returned item(s) before sending the correct product to you.

 

Please note that any existing store credits with Bitsoflace.com will automatically be applied to your next order unless we are specifically notified otherwise.
